Add-On: Pitch Deck Essentials

We provide six essential sections needed to build a strong pitch deck for your feature, short or TV script.

This is not a visual deck with slides. Instead, we give you the written content for each section, ready for you to plug into a deck format if needed. With today’s tools, building your own visual deck is simple, but even without one, these sections are key when pitching to producers and execs.

Thematic Statement / Why Now

In this section, we help you define the emotional or cultural core of your story. It’s about capturing what your script is really saying beneath the surface and why that message resonates today. We work with you to shape a clear, compelling reason why this story needs to be told now.

Visual World & Tone

We’ll create a custom mood board with 10 to 16 curated stills that reflect the look, atmosphere, and energy of your story. These images will help communicate the world your characters live in, the visual tone, and the emotional temperature of the piece. Alongside the imagery, we’ll include a list of carefully chosen keywords that capture the overall vibe. These are terms you can reference throughout your pitch to keep things consistent and focused.

Main Characters

We’ll spotlight 2 to 4 of your central characters, writing short but effective descriptions that capture their personality, purpose, and journey. We’ll also provide role recommendations by suggesting 2 to 3 actors for each part, typically B-list talent or rising A-listers. This helps anchor your story with recognizable faces, making the deck more appealing to producers, reps, and potential partners.

Comparables & Audience

We’ll help position your project by identifying 2 to 3 strong comps—think “X meets Y”—that clearly communicate tone, style, and market appeal. This section also outlines where your script fits: streamers, indie theatrical, festivals, or a specific niche audience. While line producers are hired to break down exact numbers, Screenwriting Staffing has been around for over a decade, so we can give you a realistic ballpark budget range to help producers quickly gauge the scope and potential of your project.

The Hook / What Sets It Apart

Here, we zero in on what gives your story its edge. Maybe it's an unconventional premise, a bold narrative choice, or a world we haven’t seen before. Maybe it's a character dynamic that flips expectations. Whatever it is, this section makes it clear why your project isn’t just another script in the pile—it’s the one they’ll remember.

Custom Touches

Every project has its own needs, and typically includes additional elements that can enhance your deck. We also include things like taglines, several starter poster, early marketing hook, tone-setting quote, or a personal note.

All for ONLY  $49

This is an add-on to our standard query package, which already includes 20 loglines, 2 intros, 3 summaries, and a writer bio. For just $49 more (total: $138), you’ll also receive the six most essential sections needed to build a strong pitch deck for your feature, short or TV script.

You’ll receive everything in Word and PDF, with the mood board and preliminary poster delivered as PNGs.

Again, these also work well as standalone pitch materials. You can attach them to your query or link them separately, covering the exact follow-up questions producers often ask after reading your logline or synopsis.

We include one revision pass if anything is missing or unclear in our delivery.
